Day 1: ZAGREB (Croatia)

  • Welcome of the group at Zagreb Airport;
  • Sightseeing of main attractions of the capital city Zagreb: Old Upper town with St. Mark's church, Porta di Pietra, Jelačič Square, Ilica, the longest street in Zagreb and Tkalčičeva street, a place where you can feel what Zagreb is all about;
  • Hotel HB or BB & Restaurant dinner.


  • After breakfast, drive along Sava River to the SERBIAN capital;
  • In the afternoon sightseeing of Belgrade’s main attractions: National Parliament of Serbia, Old Palace of Obrenović and Karadjordjević dynasty, Orthodox St. Sava Church, Terazije Square with famous Moskva Hotel, Republic Square with National Theatre, walking tour and shopping on Knez Mihailova  street, Princess Ljubica's Residence,  Belgrade Fortress and  Kalemegdan park, confluence of Sava and Danube Rivers, Memorial of  Yugoslavian president Marshall Tito;
  • Hotel HB or BB & Restaurant dinner.


  • A morning tour to the hills of Šumava region and visit of small town Topola where we admire Oplenac Mausoleum with extraordinary position on the top of the hill. Mausoleum is five domed church with fantastic mosaic decoration with 40 million various colored pieces of glass which have 15.000 different varieties of color;
  • We stop in Zlakusa Village in Morava Valley, village was important station of Turkish caravans in past, today village is ethno park with the pottery handwork crafts, collection of an old Serbian national costumes, other souvenirs and with very tasty food, so we take lunch in popular house Terzića Avlija;
  • Our next stop is Zlatibor, over 1000 meters high mountain where Serbian king Aleksander Obrenović decided to establish an alpine climatic health resort, today Zlatibor is very popular winter and Summer holidays resort;
  • Hotel HB or BB & Restaurant dinner.


  • A morning drive to Šargan mountain, where we take very attractive narrow-gauge heritage railway called ʺčiroʺ, known as Šargan Eight, running from village of Mokra Gora to the top of Šargan pass;
  • On the mountain of Mokra gora we visit wooden village Drvengard, built by film director Emir Kusturica for his film Life is a Miracle, today village is very attractive traditional open air museum;
  • Then we cross the border to the next former Yugoslavian republic BOSNIA AND HERCEGOVINA;
  • we make a stop in Višegrad, well known for more than 400 years old Bridge on the Drina River, which is also the name of the novel, written by Bosnian writer Ivo Andrić, awarded for this novel with the Nobel Prize for Literature in year 1961;
  • In late afternoon we cross the mountain Romania, where we can still see untouched nature;
  • A drive to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia;
  • Hotel HB or BB & Restaurant dinner.


  • A morning sightseeing tour of multicultural and multi religious town of Sarajevo, where Winter Olympic Games in 1984 took place but many mostly still remember it as dramatic town in the time of the last Balkan War;
  • A sightseeing of all main attractions in Sarajevo: Miljacka River with Latin Bridge, where assassin Gavrilo Princip killed Habsburg Crown prince Ferdinand and his wife Sofia, Old bazar, mystical Baščaršija, Kujundžiluk with a lot of handcrafts of filigree, silver, carpet products and coffee pots,  Gazi Husrev beg’s mosque;
  • An afternoon visit of romantic springs of the river Bosna;
  • We drive through the Canyon of the spectacular Neretva River, where known battle between Tito's army called ʺpartizaniʺ and Hitler's army took place in the year 1943;
  • An arrival to Mostar, in HERCEGOVINA region;
  • Hotel HB or BB & Restaurant dinner.


  • A morning visit of beautiful town Mostar (Unesco) situated on the banks of the green Neretva River, where we cross the main attraction in Mostar, The old Bridge from 16th century, which was restored after the last Bosnian war;
  • We also see the remains of Turkish houses: Muslibegović house, which is national monument of Hercegovina, Old Bazar and Čaršija, many national restaurants and restaurants  called ʺčevabdžiniceʺ, handcraft shops ,…;
  • An afternoon drive to historic Počitelj town, which is another ottoman caravan saray in Neretva Valley;
  • A drive to Mediterranean region DALMACIA in CROATIA, to a beautiful Adriatic coast;
  • An evening arrival to the Dubrovnik region;
  • Hotel HB or BB & Restaurant dinner.


  • A morning walking tour around of Dubrovnik (Unesco) where we see: city walls and many fortresses, Pile Gate, always crowded main street Stradun, Onofrio Fountain, Old Pharmacy, Cathedral, Sponza palace;
  • Afternoon excursion to MONTENEGRO, to enjoy the Bay of Boka under the massif Dinaric Alps;
  • We cross baroque Perast town and visit the renaissance Kotor town, which was in the past a beautiful Venetian historical town;
  • Return to Dubrovnik;
  • Hotel HB or BB & Restaurant dinner.


  • A morning drive along the Adriatic Sea to extraordinary Makarska Riviera and further to Split, the biggest Dalmatian town with a long history;
  • A walking tour around historical center of Split and visit of the Diocletian’s palace (Unesco);
  • A drive to Trogir (Unesco), very picturesque small renaissance town or we continue to Šibenik, where we visit the Basilic of St. James, which is a grate masterpiece from early middle age;
  • At the end of the day, we go to the typical Dalmatian farm Pakovo selo, where we have traditional homemade dinner;
  • Hotel BB in Šibenik-Vodice region.


  • We drive on a scenic highway towards Plitvice Lakes National Park;
  • We visit the site that is on the UNESCO’s List of World Natural Heritage. There are sixteen lakes, each at a different level and are connected in a series of beautiful cascading waterfalls. Surrounded by the dense wood, Plitvice Lakes are a natural phenomenon of a rare and unique beauty;
  • After lunch break we continue towards SLOVENIA;
  • We finish the day in a lively touristic sea-side town Portorož;
  • Hotel HB or BB & Restaurant dinner.


  • A morning visit of Piran, the oldest and very picturesque Slovenian Mediterranean town, one of the preferred locations for film industry (apart from Bled);
  • Then we continue to the wine region of Kras, where we have a wine tasting at tourist farm
  • We continue to Postojna cave, the most popular karst cave in the world. Guided tour starts with the ride by electrical train and followed by a walk through beautiful passages and chambers with spectacular drop stones, pillars, limestone curtains and other unforgettable forms;
  • Drive to Ljubljana and dinner in the old town;
  • Hotel, BB.

Day 11: LJUBLJANA – BLED – a return to home

  • A visit of Ljubljana and getting to know the unique character of "Stara Ljubljana" (Ljubljana Old Town), where distinct Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture combines with masterly creations by the 20th century architect Jože Plečnik;
  • During the walking tour main sights are visited: the Cathedral of St. Nicolai, the Three bridges, the Ljubljanica river and funicular ride up to the Castle for a beautiful view of the city centre;
  • Free time for lunch or souvenir shopping in Ljubljana;
  • A drive to Bled and sightseeing of the charming town on the lakeshore and imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake, which offers also the most stunning view of the lake with a small island on it;
  • We take the Pletna boat to visit the island and ring the wishing bell in a small church;
  • We finish the tour and drive to the airport for an evening flight back home.
